The Story Behind the Music
There is something mesmerizing about the idea of vast underground worlds, hidden from the surface and untouched by time. Cave of Echoes was born from that fascination, drawing inspiration from childhood stories like Journey to the Center of the Earth and the atmospheric soundscapes of the game Hollow Knight.
When I was young, my mother used to read Journey to the Center of the Earth to me. The thought of descending into an unknown realm filled with glowing caverns, forgotten ruins, and echoes of ancient civilizations sparked my imagination. That sense of mystery and wonder stayed with me, and I wanted to translate it into sound.
This track is a slow, immersive journey into the unknown. Layered strings, wind instruments, and chimes intertwine to create a meditative atmosphere, capturing the quiet grandeur of uncharted depths.
