Temple in the Clouds

The Story Behind the Music

What if you could float beyond the reach of gravity, where time slows and the world below fades into an endless sea of clouds? Temple in the Clouds was born from this vision—a meditative composition designed to inspire a deep sense of serenity and weightlessness.

The feeling of being suspended above the world has always fascinated me, something I often experienced while flying. That moment when the plane rises above the clouds, erasing the ground beneath a vast cotton-like ocean, feels like stepping into another dimension. The air seems lighter, time slows, and the mind drifts freely.

This piece captures that sensation, drawing inspiration from fantasy worlds where floating islands and hidden temples exist beyond the sky. Influenced by Japanese animation, particularly the enchanting universe of Laputa: Castle in the Sky and the Skypiea islands of One Piece, as well as ethereal landscapes and celestial dreamscapes, I composed this piece as an invitation to explore a suspended world, beyond time and gravity.

Step Into the Soundscape

You are seated on a cloud, gazing at an ancient temple suspended in the sky. A waterfall plunges into the vast sea of clouds, dissolving into the void. Shooting stars streak silently across the firmament, vanishing before reaching the horizon. The air is filled with soft percussions resonating like a distant echo, blending with airy harmonies that evoke calm and serenity.

This piece is meant to accompany moments of meditation, relaxation, and quiet reflection. Whether you need to disconnect from daily stress, enter a mindful state, or find peace before sleep, Temple in the Clouds offers a space to breathe and let go.
